Back home now until September! Mixed emotions about that to be honest, but I’m going to make the most of the little money I’ve saved up so I don’t end up staying at home in Devon all Summer. Lovely to be back though :) Forgot how much I enjoyed just reading in ze garden. Plus we’ve got a new kitten. She’s staying in my room at the moment and I’m keeping a close eye on her to make sure she doesn’t jump out of any windows etc which should keep me busy for some time…

Don’t be fooled. She looks sweet but she’s actually a little insane.

Can’t believe the first year is over. Going home on Tuesday and not sure how to feel about it. It’s not always brilliant here and I’ve pulled out what feels like all of my hair over exams and coursework, but I love it here.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about taking chances, and how it’s really just about overcoming your fears. Because the truth is, every time you take a big risk in your life, no matter how it ends up, you’re always glad you took it.
